WINDOWS
Window displays are used as an initial attraction to bring customers into a store and are also used as a marketing tool to communicate the brand's image to the consumers as well as to distinguish itself from its competitors. The importance of the window display is that it is a touch point consumers have with the brand. Memorable windows can help get your brand name talked about when they are away from the store or be the reason the consumer returns, remembering to go back to try on the gorgeous outfit that was displayed and styled so well, they will leave not only with that dress, but the shoes, handbag and necklace that just looked amazing with the cardigan to complete the look
Below you will find a small collection of some window displays that I designed for various well known global retailers, like .Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Hackett London, Oroton and GAP
Various Window Concept Designs
The following are some concept designs for various brands I have created.
Hackett London
Hackett is a British multi-channel retailer of clothing for men and boys which prides itself on providing accessible luxury with the unique Hackett signature. 'Hackett is a brand that dresses men of all ages,' says founder and chairman Jeremy Hackett, 'in a style that is classic but not old-fashioned. '
At Hackett London I was the global Visual Merchandising Director and would work with my direct team across the globe as well with franchise partners and wholesale accounts to ensure global consistency was maintained. At the time I was there, we had stores all over Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and Middle East, with Mexico and South Africa being added to the Hackett world map.

Proud to be British, this window was all about our birth place, London.

Using key items from the new winter collection, I had an artist sketch an image and had it printed on brown paper to create a unique backdrop for this window
Another one of the sketches used for this window concept.
Christmas window, this time the concept was being in your country estate. It was made fun and playful, for example the child diving into the hay stack

Finding these vintage gardening props took a lot of searching but it was well worth it.
Brooks Brothers
Brooks Brothers is the oldest men's clothier in the United States, founded in 1818 by Henry Sands Brooks he opened his first store in New York. Brooks Brothers is proud to uphold the same traditions and values for nearly two centuries. In 2018 Brooks celebrated its 200th birthday, not many clothing retail brands can say they’ve achieved that.
My role for Brooks Brothers was Director of Visual Merchandising and Store Design. Below you will see just a small collection of my work
I worked with an artist to do some sketches, one was the front of our iconic flagship NEW YORK store on Madison Ave and the other was a New York skyline. We also did 5 guys and 4 girls in current season product

Oroton is Australia’s oldest luxury fashion company founded in 1938. The company’s main product category is bags for women and men. The company sells other products such as eyewear, accessories and small leather goods, and launched its ready-to-wear apparel line in 2019.
During my time with Oroton, I was the Group Visual Merchandising manager overseeing all the company brands. Oroton store globally, from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia with opened the first Dubai store.
resin Poppy's grab the attention of many as they walked past this window display. In fact, every single one in all stores globally was sold after the display finished.

On the tv we showed our runway show, next to the tv we had it set up as model racks from behind the scenes.
This was a flagship store in MBS Singapore. Due to our store shop front being very gold and makes one big beautiful shinny statement, we keep the windows more simple and ensure the product is the hero item on display.
These fun colourful zebra's put a smile on everyone's face
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren Corporation is an American fashion company producing products ranging from the mid-range to the luxury segments. They are known for the clothing, marketing and distribution of products in four categories: apparel, home, accessories, and fragrances.
Ralph Lauren was also one of the brands I was lucky enough to manage as part of my role as Group VM manager. On my team was a windows manager and three state interior managers, along with a wholesale manager plus some field VM team members.
GAP AUSTRALIA
GAP were born in San Francisco and founded in a state of idealism. In 1969, Don and Doris Fisher opened a first of its kind store to meet the needs of the generation gap. In doing so, they created a brand that unites generations through iconic style and is found globally. Originators and champions of a uniquely radical and optimistic sense of American style that bridges the gaps between individuals, generations, and cultures. Where the essentials are iconic. Where craft and quality endure. Where individuality thrives. Where inclusion sparks creativity. Where we do more than make clothing; we shape culture.
I looked after GAP along side Brooks Brothers while Oroton Group had the Australia license.. Window concept would come from global head quarters and we would adapt to suit our market and store space
